Am I in the ballpark?
See your price against what you charged for similar jobs, not a guess from someone else's rates. New to the app? You start from a clearly marked guide range.
Have I covered everything?
A checklist of what is commonly forgotten, such as access, disposal, certificates and making good, so you do not under quote.
Quoting and job tracking are one loop. The real hours and materials from each finished job teach the app your own numbers, so the next quote warns you.
How we think about it
You set the price
The app shows where a quote sits against your history and what is commonly forgotten. Any AI help drafts and suggests, you read and decide everything before it goes to a customer. It never sets a price.
Honest about the paperwork
We prepare the certificates and notices and count your state's due dates. We do not lodge anything for you, and the screens tell you to check each deadline with your regulator.
Who it is for
One person running one trade business in Australia. Right now that means electricians, plumbers (including gas fitting and drainage) and carpenters, with more trades coming. You pick your trade when you sign up, and the whole app is built around it: the job types, the checklists and the paperwork.
What it is not
Novato Trade is not a management suite. There is no:
- Projects and teams
- Payroll and accounting
- Stock and inventory
- Company and account hierarchies
Just the quote, the job, the paperwork and the invoice.
